ABBA Migrant Shelter in Celaya, Mexico, helps thousands of people a year. ABBA provides food, housing, medical care, and legal assistance to people migrating from all around the world and is the only shelter in the Americas which specifically assists people who have lost limbs on their journey to reach the US border. ABBA is now creating the Centro Cultural de Derechos Humanos, (Cultural Center for Human Rights) a transformational new shelter to provide long-term housing to asylum seekers, families, amputees, and LGBTQ+ people.
